Quick Alignment
- Quick alignment tools offer a much easier way to quickly snap one feature to another feature
- Feature snapping uses faces and/or edges of source and target feature
- Features can be snapped to each other at specified point on the face, edge or kept at a specified distance
You can align features with respect to each other withouth launching full feature editor dialog via feature context menu.
Using shape handles to adjust parametric dimensions Handle based adjustment is useful for quickly snapping faces together or place them specific distance from another face or an edge. Handles support symmetrical adjustment, or adjustment based on handle selection. This typically means, with handles you can easily adjust, say, width of a box, only from one side. |
