Using Imported Geometry

Feature creation using geometry from Third-Party modeling software
  • Currently only .step file format is supported. Once imported, you can drop in the model as a feature.
  • The feature editor will allow you to remove unwanted faces of the imported model, sew up open faces where possible etc.
  • This operation does not affect original imported model, thus allowing you to cleanup same model in various ways depending on the need
